Philip was born in La Paz, Bolivia and has always had an interest in expressing himself physically and the performance arts. Phil started physical training in Gymnastics from age 4-13, then did some skateboarding and snowboarding. He was introduced to dance at age 18 and then trained at LCDS, where he met Hofesh Shechter, a collaboration that would span a decade with Philip working across all of Shechter’s productions between 2007 - 2017. Since going freelance he has performed for Xenia Aidonopoulou, Justice in Motion, and more.

He then transitioned into working as a movement specialist for film and television productions, he’s worked on films such as Mission Impossible, Pacific Rim: Uprising, The Mummy, the Ritual, Worzel Gummidge and others. He’s also worked as an actor in various short films.

Now, he is working as a tree surgeon full time, climbing and pruning them - a totally different experience! Lost Dog coax him back onstage with Ruination.
