Hungry Ghosts
Lost Dog’s unique combination of dance, theatre and live music come together in this highly original new work to tell the story of a man’s journey through a tragically theatrical act of terrorism. As the sole survivor he is haunted by the stories of those who didn’t make it and is desperate to find sense in this nonsensical act. A darkly funny and moving piece of dance theatre.
Performed by: Delphine Gaborit, Donatella Cabras, Raquel Meseguer, Ben Duke, Seke Chimutengwende and Jim de Zoete.
Lighting Design: Jackie Shemesh
Costume Design: Katherina Radeva

The Drowner
A man runs on a beach, desperate to call the emergency services after discovering a woman washed up by the sea. Told in rapid, alternating flashbacks on an atmospheric, pebble strewn stage, the young man’s story unravels as the audience is forced to question their assumptions. What was, what could have been and what should have been twist into a single memory.
The Drowner was nominated for a Total Theatre Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2005.
Simultaneously raw and slick, Lost Dog have created a work that hits the mark on every level.

Pave Up Paradise
Adam and Eve are unable to decide who was to blame for the loss of Paradise. They fight it out, reliving their fall in an attempt to find the guilty party. Through their cycle of battle and reconciliation they are hoping to reverse the course of events, to move backwards to the time before they ate the forbidden fruit. But there is no return to innocence. The moments of beauty are memories; the heavenly host is now a solitary busker. This is the 21st Century Eden. This is their love.
Pave up Paradise won first prize at the Burgos International Choreography Competition 2004 and second prize at the 19th International Choreography
festival in Hannover 2005. It was performed at Sadler’s Wells and toured by Phoenix Dance theatre as part of their 25th Anniversary Stories in Red programme.

The Overhead Project
This duet examines the performer’s paranoia and the often self punishing nature of performance. It is inspired by our own experiences of stepping on stage and the disproportionate sense of fear this invokes.
The Over-Head Project was commissioned by The Place Theatre for the White Christmas Season 2005.
Witty and fun with a good twist at the end.
